Are you a seasoned science teacher ready to lead and support other educators? This role lets you bring your classroom expertise to life through coaching, training, and improving STEM instruction in the School District of Philadelphia. Ideal for former teachers who want to stay connected to the classroom—without managing one.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site coaching 4 days/week to support implementation of Amplify Science
Lead observations, feedback sessions, PLCs, and professional development
Collaborate with district leaders to analyze data, plan instruction, and improve student outcomes
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of experience teaching K–8 science with strong student outcomes
Experience leading teacher coaching or professional development
Strong data analysis and instructional planning skills
Preferred:
Familiarity with Amplify Science
Master’s or Advanced Degree in Education
10+ years of teaching or leadership experience in K–8 STEM
