About the Role
Pearson Virtual Schools is hiring an Education Specialist (Academic Impact Partner) to champion academic excellence through data-driven coaching and collaboration with school leaders and instructional teams. This remote role is perfect for former principals or Heads of School with a passion for improving K–12 outcomes through strategy, partnership, and impactful PD.
Key Responsibilities
Lead academic data discussions and school improvement strategies
Collaborate across departments to align coaching and instructional goals
Monitor key performance indicators and analyze data to inform development
Contribute to the design and delivery of professional learning for school leaders
Conduct observations and provide actionable coaching and feedback
Partner with teams to implement “small wins” initiatives
Build strong relationships across pods, leaders, and academic partners
Stay up to date on educational trends and evidence-based practices
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years in school leadership (Principal, Head of School, etc.)
Advanced degree in Education, Leadership, or related field
Strong background in academic strategy and instructional improvement
Preferred:
Data-driven decision making
Leadership coaching and professional development design
Strong communicator and collaborator
Experience with virtual education (preferred)
Comfortable working in a matrixed team environment
