Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 annually

If you love helping new teachers thrive from Day One and you're a certified pro at navigating complex education systems, this is your moment. 240 Certification is hiring a remote Program Advisor to guide aspiring Texas educators through every step of the alternative certification process—with clarity, support, and a little cheerleading when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate candidates’ applications and create personalized certification plans

  • Coach candidates through exam prep, certification phases, and next steps

  • Track academic progress and document milestones in real-time

  • Support candidates through personal or professional challenges that may affect their development

  • Use LMS platforms (preferably Canvas) and other tools to guide candidates efficiently

  • Maintain strong knowledge of certification policies and timelines

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Active Texas teaching certificate

  • 5+ years of classroom teaching experience

  • 2+ years mentoring or coaching new teachers

  • Experience using a Learning Management System

  • Willingness to travel 2–3 times/year

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
