About the Role

Kiddom is hiring a Science Content Writer to design, edit, and quality-check K–12 curriculum content on a contract basis. This flexible, part-time remote role is perfect for former science teachers or instructional designers who love standards-aligned curriculum, creative problem-solving, and building engaging digital learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author and edit science curriculum content and interactive items using Kiddom’s platform

  • Align content to NGSS and state-specific science standards

  • Provide detailed quality assurance and editorial feedback

  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet project deadlines

  • Support content troubleshooting and resolve workflow issues

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience teaching K–12 science

  • 2+ years of instructional design or curriculum writing experience

  • Attention to detail and familiarity with standards-aligned content creation

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • Experience authoring digital curriculum

  • Familiarity with the Kiddom platform or similar edtech tools

  • Deep understanding of NGSS and digital learning trends
